This morning I helped denean move the trailer as far as Helena AR. As such I didn't get on the water until 8:30. By then it was hot. Denean went onto Greenville MS with the camper. From Helena to Greenville is a 125 mile paddle with no convenient access in the mid point. So camping is the solution. I found an island just north of Rosedale MS.it would have been an 80 mile day plus drive time. So here I am, in my tent, trying not to sweat. At least tomorrow should be a 58 mile day. 

This afternoon I semi dodged a rain storm. It formed over the northwest corner of a turn in the river and seemed to stay there. I followed the river to the south and never got rained on. A few other storms passed by but never hit me. I did get a rainbow from the campsite.
