 Jekyll Island Vacation March 30 and 31, 2026 For Spring Break this year we decided to explore the Georgia Coast.  Since we had already visited the submarine museum at St. Mary's, and since we didnt want to take the trailer onto Cumberland Island, we began with Jekyll Island.  After checking in and setting up the trailer at the campsite in Jekyll Island, we drove to Brunswick to enjoy a beer and dinner.  We discovered Silver Bluff Brewing. They had some tasty beers.  From there we walked to a little park that had the first pot where Brunswick stew was cooked in. The park also had a memorial to the sailors of the US merchant marine that lost their lives during World War II. From there we ate at Tipsy McSways.  That was good food! Tuesday Morning began with a paddle.  I paddled from the boat ramp to the Clam Creek Dock. That was 6 miles with some beautiful sites.
