Today we put in at Caruthersville because we were moving the trailer and all the boat ramps prior to that were too small to wrangle the trailer. Therefore it was a short day.

The exciting part was when a floating hotel passed me.

My friends the eagles were all chattering at me wanting to know where I was yesterday. I told them but I don't think they cared.

Since today was just a hot day of paddling, I figured I'd cover a topic of vital importance. Prior to starting a paddle that will have you in the cockpit for 4 to 6 hours before your break, it's important to have a good poop. But when you have a great poop you are ready for anything! I'm talking the kind of poop that just keeps going. The kind that makes your solar plex feel like there is less pressure. As a comedian once said, the kind that cracks your back. That's what a good poop feels like. I've been able to take on the bad winds and the waves because I had a good poop! If you don't believe me, take a look at the lines at the portajohns before triathlons and marathons. They know what I'm talking about!

I hope nobody was eating when reading today's blog.

Have a good night!

Poop on!
