Today I completed my 1st 50 miler. Ok I've done several with the boy scouts. But they were over 5 days. I paddled 50 miles in one day! Yhe locks and the wind over the last 2 hours tried to rob me of the 5 mph Average...but I wouldn't let them!

The river was mostly glass all day, until I locked through lock 18. Seems like anybody with a boat in the Burlington area was on the river this afternoon...and they only know one speed, wide open. Between the boats and the wind the last 2 hours were hectic.

The eagles were plentiful today and seemed to be playing. 

And by going through lock 18 I've locked through 19 locks...10 to go!
