This morning yielded the trifecta of don't paddle. The temperature was 47 degrees,  the wind was out of the south at 19 mph with gusts up to 35 mph, and 50% chance of rain. I opted to wait until the rain had past, the wind died down and the temperature warmed up. At noon we drove where I pulled out yesterday and put in. The temperature rose 1 degree. The wind didn't seem to let up. The radar app showed the rain had passed. The radar was not accurate.  When I put in, it was misty. The rest of the afternoon it drizzled. The wind direction was supposed from the southwest  according to the weather radar app. Truth be told, the wind was in my face from southeast to southwest.

I  carried past Sartell dam.

So far Minnesota has said go away. Except it keeps me here longer. I have to escape!
