Today was a simple paddle and go home. Or so I thought. In the first 5 hours I covered 25.25 miles, blazing! After lunch I just needed to go 22 miles. I  figured 4.5 hours and a beer. Mother nature got cranky with me. She threw wind at me from every direction.  The last 11 miles seemed to last an eternity. If anyone was within hearing distance I apologize for teaching you how to string bad words in new and different combinations. 

On the good side, I saw deer, beavers, ducks, loons, prairie snake, eagles and cows. To quote Twister, we got cows! 

I may have caused a stampede.  I guess blue kayaks are not common.
